The conventional fabrication of gas torch cutting + finishing machining is replaced with FB.
Conventionally, machining was used after torch cutting to provide the necessary smooth surface on the sliding portion of the cam. Our proposal for converting to FB with 100% shearing and without finishing drastically reduced costs and increased productivity. The die is given a coating finish after grinding. High hydrostatic pressure is used when punching. Other various know-how is necessary. |
